Take Action
People across the world are voting with their consciences. Vancouverites will do that too - but only if they know they have an opportunity to do so! We need your help to spread the word so we can all come together to demand our municipal candidates make Palestinian self-determination and basic human decency a priority in their campaigns.
Get Organized
Every little bit counts. You'll find some ideas below to support your own creativity and preferred approach for embedding solidarity with Palestine on the City of Vancouver ballot. Do your part, and maximize your impact by talking with others and spurring them to action.
- Take the pledge and ask candidates to endorse the platform.
- Invite 3 friends to sign the pledge and email candidates now. Send them this link: https://actionnetwork.org/petitions/vote-palestine-vancouver-3/
- Volunteer to canvas by emailing us with the subject line 'volunteer'. We'll invite you to join a canvassing group that will provide training and supplies.
- Organize in your community:
- Join one of our sister organizations to connect with likeminded people
- Organize with Canadians for Justice and Peace in the Middle East
- Join your Vancouver or UBC chapter of Independent Jewish Voices
- Join a Palestine Solidarity Action UBC meeting if you have ties to UBC.
- Ask your favourite organization or business to sign the AFC pledge.
- Ask organizations you know to endorse the Vancouver Palestine Platform and mobilize their constituents to vote by sending them this link: https://votepalestinevancouver.org/endorse
- Download and print the handbill below and distribute it in your neighbourhood.

Spread the Word
Follow AFC and PSA on instagram and tag us in your posts, using the hashtag #votepalestinevancouver.
On our social media accounts, you will see us putting out calls to actions - please share those and tag your local candidates to let them know about the campaign and ask them to take action.
If you see a candidate take a position on Palestine/Israel, please tag us to let us know.
