We asked. They answered.
22 candidates have committed to our platform:
Out of 64 candidates running in this year’s Vancouver municipal election, 22 have committed – either fully or partially – to the Vote Palestine Vancouver platform.
This means over one-third of our municipal candidates from half of the parties have gone public with their support for Palestinian human rights. This is despite the federal government’s nonsensical position that antizionism is antisemitism.
Your support makes all the difference! Local power matters. Our city council has the tools to divest, advocate, and set the standard for human rights in our community. We’re making sure you know exactly who stands with human rights, including those of the people of Palestine, and who is silent.
Keep an eye on our candidates page to see the full breakdown of all 22 Vancouver candidate commitments to date and check back for any updates before you vote.
Information about candidates in other cities will be added in the coming days.
🗳️ Election Day is October 17. Make it count.
